MERCEDES 350SL 1972

Geschiedenis.

Komt binnenkort.

Deze auto.

In prachtige staat verkerende Mercedes SL 350, inclusief uniek gedocumenteerde historie.

This car.

Mercedes SL 350, in an absolute perfect condition, with an unique documented history.
Completely in the original color scheme with light blue body, ivory white hardtop and dark blue sof top.
This is the model from the early series (until 1974), which features the popular “narrow bumpers”.

The car comes directly from the second owner who owned the car from 1986 to the present.
In 1972, the car was delivered to Mr. Weissman, after which he was bought by Mr. Higginbotham in 1986. The complete (maintenance) story has been fully documented from 1972 to the present, including all invoices.
It is up to every detail to read that the car is cherished by its two owners, saving costs. This also appears from the fact that the car has undergone a complete motor audit 2000 KM ago, and the invoice is also present.

Volume production of the first R107 car, the 350 SL, started in April 1971 alongside the last of the W113 cars the 350 SLC followed in October. Sales in North America began in 1972, and cars wore the name 350 SL, but had a larger 4.5L V8 (and were renamed 450 SL for model year 1973) the big V8 became available on other markets with the official introduction of the 450 SL/SLC on non-North American markets in March 1973. US cars sold from 1972 through 1975 used the Bosch D Jetronic fuel injection system, an early electronic engine management system.
